HIS MOTHER'S PETITION. (Received 2 p.m.) CAIRO, September 4. Tlie Egyptian Government requested the Presidency to secure the co-operation of Britain in effecting the capture of Prince Ahmed Seifeddin, and his return to England. On the contrary, the Princess Nevdjivani (Prince Ahmed's mother), who is in Constantinople, petitioned King Fuad to allow Prince Ahmed to end his days in his native country, Egypt.— (Reuter.)
