TRYPHENA WHARF SITE.
On August 28, at Tryphena, Great Barrier Island, Sir. A.- D. Thomson, of Wellington, accompanied by Mr. A. J. Baker, inspecting enginer for flic Public Works at Auckland, sat as a commission upon a dispute as to the position of a wharf in Tryphena Harbour. Three cites originally chosen had been reduced to two by consent. The position now was that the settlers and county councillors had arrived at a dead end as to which site a wharf should be placed. Mr. G. A. Blackwell and Mr. J. L. Mcdland represented the respective parties. Decision on the matter was deferred.
