FAREWELL DUNEDIN.
" THE BEST OF ALL." DEPARTURE OF DESTROYERS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The United States Fleet took its departure from Duncdin for Wellington this afternoon in beautiful weather and amidst scenc3 of great enthusiasm, the wharves and all other points of vantage being packed with cheering crowds. The destroyers left at 1 o'clock, and were followed by Admiral Melville's ship at 3 o'clock. Lieut.-Commander Patrick, flag secretary to the Admiral, said of all the ports visited the opinion among the officers and men was that Dunedin was the best of all. They would never forget the hospitality of tho people anci the firm friendships formed.
