BOGUS HEIRS ARRESTED.
BOSTON, July 31. Wlien Lotta. Crabtree, the famous old-time actress, died, she left most of her 3,000,000 dollars to charity. A great race then started among distant relatives to upset the will. John Crabtree, of Crabtree Ford, Illinois, quickly discovered his relationship, and assisted Mrs. Blankenburg, his sister, in presenting her claim that she was Lotta. Crabtrees illegimate child. After a long hearing the case took a sensational. turn to-day, when Judge Prest declared: "The whole case is pockmarked with fraud." He ordered the arrest of claimants on charges of perjury, having decided that Lotta never had a child. The claim attracted great attention, reminding jurists of the famous Tichborne case.
