WAITEMATA CLUB.
The final of the Junior Championship was played on Saturday. G. Jackson winning at the 32nd hole from J. O'Loughliu, 5 nnd 4. In the semi-final round of the Senior Championship Layzell beat Baxter, 1 up, Layfcpll will play Hogau in the fldal over 36 holes on Saturday. The second round of the Alison Memorial trophy competition will be played on Saturday next, partners as drawn for the final round.

Miss IloKan plays Miss Mlddlemiu. For the Ladies' Golf I'nion bronze medal competition Miss Joan Darre returned ibe best card, gross 100, handicap 20, net 78. The first round of mutch play in the men's championship resulted as follows:— Senior.—Dr. MrSweeney beat G. Payne, 4 up and 2 to play; H. J. Wily bent T. J. Lally, 2 up and 1 to play: E. Friedlander beat H. Q'Lousrhlin. 4 up and 3 to play; W. (>. Brosnahan beat A. Schlaepfer, 7 up niid 5 to play. Junior.—F. 'Carr heat T. Landy, 1 up; H. Chafleswort'h beat E. Lee. 1 up; N. Stuart beat N. Pattle, 4 up and 3 to play; A. Schlaepfer beat 11. Short, r> up and i to piny. The final for the Brosnahan spoons was won by T. J. Lally 0-1), who defeated H.
