NEW YORK YANKEES BUSY

Leo Durocher, aged 19, short-stop for the Harvard Eastern League Club, has been sold to the New York Ameri cans for 12,000 dollars.
Chicago Club bid 10.000 dollars, but the "Yankees" were determined to land him.
The "Yankees" also expect to complete a deal with Salt Lake City Club for the return of "Lefty" Odoul, a former pitcher, who has been converted into an outfielder.
The "Yankees" offered 75,000 dollars for Odoul and Tony Lazcrre.
