REJOINDER TO N.Z. ALLIANCE

Afc a meeting of the Dominion Executive of the New Zealand Licensing Reform Association, held at Wellington, the following resolution was carried: ''That the resolution of th© New Zealand Alliance, published in "The Dominion" of August 3, is merely.-de-clamatory, and does not constitute hi anyway a reply to the resolutions of the New Zealand Licensing Reform Association in which the New Zealand Alliance was challenged to reply seriatim to specific charges contained in .*. ten numbered clauses. That in view of this the New Zealand Licensing Reform Association repeats its statement that the New Zealand Alliance is attempting to secure control of. Parilament for the purposes of prohibition."
