THE NEW RAILWAY STATION.
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —It would appear froiri some of your correspondents that they are losing some sleep over the removal of the Auckland railway station from its pre: sent site. But why worry? Auckland, this fair city of yours, is going to progress, and, it is / a pleasure to see at least the : Department in question looking ahead. Do we in Sydney -dump our passengers down in an allotment tucked in behind our Post Office? Go ahead, Auckland, and wipe out your "pocket edition"- of a railway station, and look well ahead to the splendid future that is in store .for you.—l am, etc.,
AUSSEE,
