ILLEGALLY ON PREMISES.
THREE MONTHS' HARD LABOUR. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent), WHAXGARET. this day. At the Magistrate's Court to-day, before Mr. R. W. Tate. an did man named William Brown McAdara wa3 charged with being found illegally on premises. Senior Sergeant O"G*rady said McAdam was a nuisance to the district. At one time he had owned a farm at Maungakaramea. but at present he -a-as on the high way to bring classed as a rogue and vagabond. It "wag"adduced, that McAdam, who labodred under an idea that the place still belonged to him, had entered a farmhouse at Maungakaramea. where, after divesting himself of wearing apparel, he had proceeded to an inner room, where he was found comfortably ensconced oh a couch. Previously a predatory visit had been made to the larder. This was the third time McAdam had visited the farmhouse. Accu.-ed was convicted and sentenced to three months" hard labour.
