DESERTED TWO WIVES.
MAX GETS A MONTH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. After having deserted two wives and having gone away to Auckland with a third woman, R." E. Hooker, a middleaged man, was sentenced to one month's imprisonment on a charge of disobedience of maintenance orders. His first wife divorced him.
