At the auction sales of hides and sheepskins this afternoon in tho Chamber of commerce good supplies were offered and fair sales recorded. Quotations were:— Sheepskins.—Dry, tliree-quarter to full wool, Od to 9}d per lb; hair wool, to B}d; short to quarter wool, 7Jd; pelts, 6}d; and damaged skins, to 7id per lb. Salted skins: An extra heavy full wool skin sold at 13/; grood three-quarter to run wool realised from 7/6 to 9/; medium sizes, 6/ to 7/3; small, 3/6 to 5/6.
