The Director of Postal Services ' has announced that a reduction has been made \ri fates for Press cable messages between Canada and Australia. The new rates, which come into force to-day, are 4d a word instead of sd.
Messages from Vancouver City are. reduced from 3 Jd- to 2Jd.—(A. and N.Z.)
