There was a good attendance at the annnal meeting of .the Pargavills Town Band, M-r. Thos- Kennedy presiding. The balance.- skeet showed £20 7/2 credit balance, and assets over liabilities of £933 4/8, against £870 8/6. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr. T. Kennedy; deputy conductor, Mr. K. Peat ; secretary, Mr. B. A. Dunn; band sergeant, Mr. R- Cassidy. A public meeting convened hy the Major, Mr. F. A. Jones, held, last night, decided to form a hoy scout troop. The Prime Minister was elected patron, the Mayor president, and 3lr. liojrle organising secretary. . . '_■ '■
