The "Daily "Express" announces that the National Institute of Medical Research at Mount Vernoii, Hampstead, after four years' work, has won the international race for the benefit of humanity by the discovery of tiie organism which causes cancer and which is responsible for one out of every seven deaths of human beings over 30 years of age. The "Daily Express" adds that false expectations should not be created. It is the cause and not the cure of cancer which is discovered, but the diseoverj gives definite hope of grappling with the . disease.
