OBITUARY.
MR. W. A. KEY. A gentleman well known in the seed trade, Mr. Walter -Alexander . Key, died as : his residence, Massey Road, Manger., at-,the age of 49 years. He was the eldest I son of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Key, of Linns- j den, in the South Island of New Zealand. | He ■ was born in Scotland, and came to New Zealand with his parents when four years of age. Fourteen years later, I Mr. .Key came to Auckland and joined, the firm of Arthur Yates and Company, where he remained until his death. For ! over 20 years, Mr. Key travelled for that firm in the South Island. He was | secretary •of the Auckland- Seed Mer-J chants' As.f ciation. also . of' the- Grain' and . Produce Merchants'' Association, and first secretary; of the-'Xew Zealand Horticultural Seedsmen's, .Association. •: Mr. Key was also interested in football, and was secretary of tbe North Shore Rugby Club, and a member of .the. Devonport Band. Mr. Key, for some years, was treasurer of the Foresters' Court at Devonport. For the last seven years deceased has resided at Mangere. He is survived by his w-ife, two sons (Messrs. L. and J. Key) and one daugh-'----ter.
