RIMUTAKA DUE NEXT WEEK. Carrying 278 passengers, besides roaili and cargo, the New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Rimutaka is expected to reach Auckland at daybreak on Thursday of nest week. . She is coming from Liverpool and will also.discharge at Wellington, Lvttelton and Dunedin. GURNA DEPARTS MONDAY. In continuation of her voyajre from New York, the British-India steamer Gnma, which arrived at Auckland on Thursday evening, Is announced to leave this port at noon on Monday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Hobart and Burnle. DOONHOLM'S SAILING TIME. For further discharge of her cargo from Canada, the tramp steamer Doonholm will not now leave Auckland for Wellington until noon on Monday. This vessel, which is berthed at the Prince's wharf, will also discharge at Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne and Sydney. W r EST CAHOKIA COMING. Flying the flag of. the Swayne and Hoyt Line, the freighter West C'ahokla is expected to arrive at Auckland from Pacific Coast ports about Wednesday of next week. This vessel, which comes to the agency of Messrs, Henderson and Macfarlane, will also discharge at Lyttelton, Melbourne and NSydney. CARGO FROM PACIFIC COAST. Laden with cargo from Pacific Coast ports, the Swayne and Hoyt steamer West Isllp was expected to clear San Francisco for Auckland on Wednesday last. She Is due here on August 3 and is to proceed hence to Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney.. .Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane are the local agents. KIA ORA LOADING. For further loading, the Shaw, Savill nnd Albion line steamer Kia Ora arrived at Auckland from Opua last evening, and berthed' to-day at the Central wharf, where she continued her Homeward loading. On* the run from Townsville to Opua the Kia Ora experienced flue weather and smooth seas. She is announced by Messrs 1,.,' D Nathan and Co. to leave Auckland on Tuesday for Tokomaru Bay, Wellington and Bluff to fill up for London, being scheduled to gall finally on July 22. The Isabella de Flralne arriTed at Auckland yesterday afternoon from Hoklanga. The Herekino is at present withdrawn from the Portland service to ship two additional winches. The Northern Company's steamer Matangi shifted from the Prince's wharf to the North wall to-day to continue her overhaul. The auxiliary schooner Endeavour, recently sold to Island buyers, is to leave Auckland to-morrow for Suva. The vessel recently completed an extensive overhaul. The Richardson line steamer Mako has been delayed by rough weather on the East Coast, and cannot now reach Auckland until Thursday next. On arrival she will undergo her periodical overhaul. Tbe Kauri arrived yesterday afternoon with a cargo of bagged wheat from Geelong. Westerly gales and rough seas were encountered on the voyage to Auckland. The Kauri is discharging at the Queen's wharf. Having left Auckland on Tuesday evening last. the Union Company's R.M.m.s. Aorangi arrived at Suva at 6 o'clock last evening. After a stay of four hours the vessel resumed her voyage to Honolulu and Vancouver, where she is due on July 24. From Lautoka, the Union Co.'s steamer Kurow is expected to arrive at Auckland on Monday afternoon. After discharging a part cargo of raw sugar at Chelsea she is to proceed to Newcastle to load a cargo of coal for discharge at this port. To the agency of A. S. Paterson and Co., the S.S. and A. line steamer Waimana is due, according to her wireless report, to arrive at Auckland on Thursday next. This vessel is bringing cargo from Liverpool for discharge at Auckland, Napier, Dunedin and Bluff. lONIC'S SAILING DATE. Now discharging nnd loading at Port Chalmers, the White Star liner lonic is to proceed on Wednesday to Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. Taking passengers and cargo, this vessel is announced to leave Wellington at daybreak on July 29 for Southampton and London, via Panama. REMUERA ARRIVING MONDAY. With passengers and cargo, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Remuera is expected to arrive at Wellington from London and Southampton early next week. A wireless report received yesterday stated that the vessel would make port on Monday afternoon. TOFUA LEFT SUVA. Returning from her monthly trip to the Islands of the Western Pacific, the Union Co.'s steamer Tofua left Suva last evening for Auckland. She is due here on Tues day afternoon, and will discharge and load at the Queen's wharf. Besides a cargo of fruit, the Tofua lias S9 passengers to land at this port. CUNARD STEAMSHIP CO. RUAPEHU'S MOVEMENTS. On Monday morning the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Ruapehu Is to leave Dunedin to load at Timaru for Boston, New York, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, CardifT and Avonmoutb. She will subsequently load at Lyttelton, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Wellington, Napier and Auckland, being scheduled to sail finally from this port about the end of the present month. HOKIANGA HARBOUR ENTRANCE. Captain J. Bollons, master of the Government steamer Tutanekai, reports having taken a line of soundings across tbe bar at the entrance to Hoklanga Harbour on May 21; the shoalest sounding obtained being 17ft at M.L.W.S., the signal staff bearing 073deg. Masters of vessels Intending to visit Hoklanga Harbour should obtain from the harbourmaster the latest information regarding the state of the entrance. CANADIAN CHALLENGER ARRIVED. With cargo from Montreal, the Canadian Government steamer Canadian Challenger arrived at Auckland last evening and berthed this morning at the western side of the Prince's wharf, where she commenced her discharge. Every effort will be made to dispatch this vessel for Napier and Southern ports ln continuation of her voyage this evening. Ou her recent trip, the Canadian Challenger cleared Montreal on May 27 and passed through Panama on •Tune 10. Variable weather prevailed in the Pacific, and the steamer arrived after a voyage devoid of incident. On completion of her discharge, she will load for New York, Boston and Montreal, being scheduled to sail tiually from this port about tbe end of the month. Captain W. Movements of vessels under the flag of the Union Co. are announced as follows: — Kaimanawa has been fixed to load a cargo of coal at Westport on Tuesday next for discharge at Auckland. Karori was expected to arrive at Auckland to-day from Westport aud was to berth at the King's wharf. Wingatui Is due at Auckland from Southern ports, via Napier, to-morrow. On arrival she will berth, at the Prince's wharf. Kamona is expected to reach Auckland this afternoon from Greymouth. She will discharge at the Central wharf. Kaitoke was expected to leave Geelong last night for Auckland and Wellington. Kaltangata ' was expected to .sail this afternoon for Napier and Wellington. Walnnl is to leave Napier at 5 p.m. to-day.for Auckland, via Glsborne. She will not' now call at Tokomaru. Bay on her trip northward. On arrival on Monday morning she will berth at the Central wharf. ... Koromiko was expected to leave Wellington last evening for Auckland. She will-berth at the King's wharf. Karetu has been, fixed to load at Melbourne about July 22 and to ■ complete at Devonport for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. She will visit the ports in the order named.

WAITBMATA FROM NEWCASTLE. Bringing a cargo of Newcastle coal, the Union Company's freighter Waitemata has reported by wireless that she will reach Auckland on Monday. She will put out her cargo at the King's wharf. HIXEMOA DUE TO-MORROW. An expected arrival at Auckland to-mor-row morning is the Government steamer Hinemoa from Norfolk Island. The vessel Is due in the stream at 8 o'clock, and will undergo inspection berore T>e~tniug at the Queen's Wharf. From Auckland she is to proceed to Niue Island.
