For the purpose of completing discharge of her cargo of basic slag from Antwerp, tho Shaw, Savlll and Albion Line steamer Walwcra Is timed to leave Auckland for New Plymouth at 6.30 a.m. to-morrow. She ls berthing at the King's wharf. Under charter to the Union Company, the Federal steamer Susses is expected to leave Newcastle next week for Singapore, en route to Calcutta, where she will take the July-August loading for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and BlufT. For Javan ports, the Union Company"s steamer Waikawa is announced to leave Newcastle this week. She will load at Singapore and Samarang towards the end of July for Dunedin. Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. A call at Penang will be made if sufficient inducement Is offered. Carrying fruit loaded at Rarotonga, Mangaia, and Aitutaki, the Union Company's cargo steamer Flora Is expected to arrive at Wellington on Monday next. After unloading part cargo, she is expected to leave there the same day for Aucklnnd, where she will put out tbe balance. HINEMOA DUE FRIDAY. Having replenished her bunkers, the Government steamer Hinemoa left Westport last cvenlnc for Auckland, where she ls expected to arrive on Friday morning. The Hinemoa ls coming to this port to load for Nlue lßland, nnd I.« to sail the same day. Spedding and Co. are the local agents. WAIOTAPU DUE TO-NIGHT. Carrying cargo loaded «t Pacinc Coast ports, the Union Co.'s trans-Paciflc freighter Waiotapn wirelesses that she will reach port at 7 o'clock this evening. On arrival she will drop anchor unlll to-morrow morning, when she will go to the Prince's wharf. Her other discharging ports arc Wellington, Melbourne nnd Sydney. ULIMAROA IN TORT. Early this morning, the Huddnrl T'nrker Bteamer Ulimaroa arrived in harbour from Sydney and anchored in the stream untill half-paßt eight, when she was taken to a berth at the eastern side of the Queen s wharf to land passengers, malls, and cargo The voyage across the Tasman was devoid of incident. The Ulimaroa is announced to leave ou her return trip to Sydney at 11 a.m. on Friday. KEELUNG FROM NEW YORK. Loaded with general cargo shipped at New York, the Ellerman-Bucknall steamer Keclung, under charter to the A. aud A. Line, Is due to reach Auckland nt 5 o'clock this afternoon. After discharging the local portion of her cargo at the Prince's wharf the Keolung is to proceed to Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin. Wangnnul nnd Sydney, to complete discharge. The N.Z. Shipping Co. are tbe local agents. CARGO FROM SOUTH. For Auckland, via Wellington, the Wlngatui left Lyttelton last ecvulng. Sho was expected to leave Wellington to-day. After discharge here, the Wlngatui will load for Southern parts. The Wauaka left Napier last evening, nnd is due at Aucklnnd to-morrow morning. After discharge here she Is to proceed lo fTunedin direct, omitting Wellington and Lyttelton. From Dunedin she is lo proceed to Bluff. Oxmaru and Tininru. Cargo for Wellington and Lyttelton will be taken by the Wlngatui.

Wnlhora is now announced to sail on Friday for Newcastle. MAKURA LEAVES WELLINGTON. In continuation of her voyage to Sydney, the Union So.'s Royal mail steamer Makura left Wellington ycßterdny afternoon. On her voyage from Snn Francisco the Xlakurn cleared the American port on May 20. aud had light variable winds nud smooth seas till arrival at Papeete at 8.80 a.in. on May SO. The voyage was resumed at !i p.m. on the same date, and the ship arrived at Rarotonga at 12.30 p.m. on .lime 1. A quantity of frull was loaded, nnd the Makura sailed again at S a.m. on June 2. The last titnge of the voyage was favoured with One weather and light seas. CANADIAN SKIRMISHER SAILED. Bound for Wellington, where she will continue discharge of her cargo from Montreal, the Canadian Government steamer Canadian Skirmisher left Auckland yesterday afternoon. She is due nt Wellington on Friday and will leave there on Monday for Lyttelton. Timaru, and Dunedin to complete discharge and to commence loading. She Is scheduled to leave Dunedin on June 20 for Wellington and Auckland and is expected to return to this port on June 25. The following day she will he dispatched for New York. Boston, and Montreal. THE SHIPBUILDING POSITION.
