IN THE WAITAKERES. THE OWNKK'S OBJECTIONS. Sisain, under tlic J'lil.lic Works Act, for the purpose of providing a public park and recreation reserve. : Together with her solicitor, .Mr. Ennor, Mrs. Sisam and l]<-r son were in attendance at last night's meeting of the Council in order to state lief objections to the Council taking the property. She .submitted that already the j Council bad any amount of land for the purpose of a recreation reserve. Her I family had poswoned the land for 75 I years, and she did nnt now desire to Ibe dispossessed. However, if the worst I came to the worst she would be pre|pared to negotiate with the city Council for the sale of 2(1 iicres.
