SALVATION ARMY'S REQUEST. Various and many were the suggestions for utilising the site for the proposed Civic Square. A new one was mentioned at the meeting of the f :ty Council last even : ng, when the Salvation Army asked the council for permission to use the Civic Square site, just on the corner of Wellesley and Queen Streets, for religious services.
