POLICE COURT.
(Before Mr. F. K. Hunt. S.M. I THE ARMY TO THE RESCUE. After Harry Radeliffe Jones i22i had pleaded guilty to a charge of being an idle and disorderly person, having" insufficient means of support. Senior Sergeant Edwards stated that Jones had only been in the Dominion for nine months. He was liy occupation a warehouseman, but had been unable to eet any work to do. Recently accused had been frequenting the waterfront and bejTginjr meals from ship's firemen. He had no money, and had been sleeping out. Jones had nothing against him. and probably if given a chance he would pull himself topptlier. Captain Davies. of the Salvation Army thereupon offered to take care of Jones' until he srui employment. Mr. Hunt then 'dismissed (lie charge against Jones. FURTHER REMANDED.
