CUTS ON THE THROAT,

(U.D MAN IN HOSPITAL. An old man named Harry Barrett, who had been employed at the hotel at Himpai. on the Helcnsville line, was admitted lo the Auckland Hospital this afternoon, suffering from severe injuries to his throat, which had been cut by a ra/.or or sharp knife. It is believed that the injuries were self-inflicted. Barrett is about 711 years of age.
