A terrific explosion occurred at the Dortslield mine near Dortmund, where live hundred men were, employed. The explosion was due. to the blowing up of an explosives store., which released gases and penetrated the pit. Most of the employees succeeded in escaping. Thirty-four bodies have been recovered. Twenty-five injured have been rescued, and 30 are missing.-—(A. and X.Z. Cable.)
