New Zealand Government, machinery, New Zealand secondary industries, and educational and general exhibits pavilions, and the available space in most of these is already taken up. If necessity demands and time permits, other buildings will be erected to house extra exhibits, for it is not intended that anything shall be crowded out through lack of space. These buildings mentioned are exclusive of tin- art gallery, which will contain art treasures from all part- of the world, the Maori house, festival hall, fernery, aquarium, restaurant, and the amusement buildings. The art 'gallery is the only permanent structure on the ground, -and it is intended to use this as a sports pavilion when the exhibition is over. To the visiting public an important aspect of the Exhibition will be the amusement park, covering 12 acres. Distinct altogether from the amusement park is the festival hall. accommodating 2.~>0il people, and devoted purely to purposes of entertainment. Here concert* will be held, and bands will play, while then.' will be in attendance the band to be brought lo New Zealand by the Exhibition I onipanv the Argyll" and Sutherland Highlanders. The choir of SOU voices will be another strong feature. The opening ceremony will be performed by the GovernorGeneral l>ir Charles Fergii-soin, who is the patron, on November 17. and the Exhibition will run for at least live months.
