OBITUARY.
M. H. E. BARFF. SYDNEY, May 3. The death has occurred of Mr. H. E. Barff, a distinguished scholar, who for some .years was warden of Sydney University.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.) Mr. BarfT was born at Tahiti in July. 18.">7. a son of the Rev. John Barff. of the London Missionary Society. He was educated at the Camden College School and Sydney University, becoming M.A. in ISS2. He was appointed warden and registrar of the university in 1011.
