A WEALTHY FKIEND. LONDON. May 1. It is announced that at a meeting of th T/>ague of Nations Union, held in London, Colonel David Davies. M.1 , ., promised a donation of £li.ioo, to be spread over a period of six and a-half years. The money is to be devoted mainly to the work of the union in the oversea* Dominions.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
