NEW ZEALAND'S POSITION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Postmaster-General, the Hon. J. G. Coates, asked what was the position of the Dominion in regard to the Empire wireless scheme, said communications on the subject were passing between the New Zealand and British Governments. New Zealand could not make any move till it knew what the British Government was going to do. The position was involved, because, while the Dominion did not favour the beam system, yet, in the long run, if it was to fall in with the Imperial scheme it must follow the lead set by Britain, that is, assuming that Britain goes in for the beam system.
