APPLES FOR LONDON.
OUR FIRST SHIPMENT. PRICES EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, this day. The first shipment of apples from New, Zealand this season reached London this week by the Rotorua. Opening prices are exceptionally good. Mr. Attwood, president' of the Fruitgrowers' Federation, cables, "The fruit arrived in excellent condition. Cox's Orange.Pippin brought 30/ per case, and other varieties 18/ to 20/. The total shipment com- : prises 6300 cases, of which 3500 are Cox's Orange."
