(Ly iclograph.— Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this din • In connection with the bequest made by the late Mr. J. S. Bond of £200 to be devoted to the advancement of technical education in Hamilton, the advisory board of the Technical High School, intend investing the fund with the Public Trustee, and from the interest available to ofl'cr four scholarships of £4 each per annum. Two of these will be awarded to pupils at the end of the first year in trades courses, while the other two will go to pupils at the conclusion of the second 3'ear in commercial and domestic courses respectively. The first award will be made at the end of the present year. The board deeiifed to mako application to the Department for a subsidy on the bequest.
