CLERKS JOIN ARTISANS. (Received .1 p.m.) DELHI, April 7. The hides and skins trade in Bengal has come to a standstill owing to a strike of 4000 workers of all grades. | This is the first instance in an industrial : dispute in India in which the clerks have joined the artisans. — ("Sun.")
