DisCUSSIOn, Teas deferred until a future meeting of Hie' council. ONE TREE HILL ROAD BOARD. At last evenings meeting of the One Tree Hill Road Board, the chairman (Mr. R. 6. Clark) presided, and Messrs. Rowr, Pnrchas. Chapman, Mclntosh, and Clayton were present. During the month of February, 36 buildtag, permits, to the value of £12.715. were issued. Thirteen of the permits represented dwellings, and six garages. Mr. J. Dawson, the engineer, reported that good progress was bylns: made with the work on the eastern area drainage contract, and that the work of blasting the lock and levelling the site for the new fire brigade station was now being undertaken. The building inspector reported that during 'the last fortnight ten building permits had been issued, to the value of £5332. Three were, for houses valued at £2944, two for brick shops, valued at £2000, nve for alterations, representing £30S, and one garage for £100. _The Direetor-Reneral of the Department g Agriculture advised that both Mr. S. H. Holhngsworth and Mr. W. Tole had been CTzetted inspectors under the JCoxious Weeds Act for the One Tree Hill district. _Tne Cornwall Tark Trustees advised that -1 pepper trees will be planted on Haunjca«ekfe Road in June next.
