REFUSE TO WORK COAL. • fßr Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Watersiders at Lyttelton this morning refused to accept the call to discharge coal on the steamer Gale from Westport. It is stated that the reason may be that the coal is from a co-opera-tive contract. NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. Work Avas resumed this morning at the wharf without incident.
