" • c Sir James Parr, Minister of Education t and Justice, visited the Auckland Deeds r and Land Transfer • Office to-day, in ". order to see the Avorking conditions. The j matter was brought before him yesterday by a deputation from the Auckland Law c society, which urged that' the present c accommodation was unsatisfactory and A inadequate, and stressed the need for « extensions, particularly as the Land r Transfer Act of last year had brought a all the old deed titles under the Land t transfer Act. It was suggested that the r Government should excavate the site + I fronting High Street, and build a two- ) storey office to meet the present and future needs of the province. ? This afternoon Sir James laid the found- c ation stone of the new Auckland Teachers' v Training College at Mount Eden.
