MURDER OF SIRDAR.
CONFESSION OF PARTICIPANT. CAIRO, March 3. In the course of the inquiry into the murder of the late Sirdar, Sir Lee Stack, Abd el Hamid Anayat, confessed to having been concerned in the crime.—(A. and N-Z. Cable.) Two men arrested on February 2 were Abd el Hamid Anayat, of the Student Teachers' Training College, and his brother, Abd el-Factah Anayat, who is a student at the Royal School of Law. Abd el Fattah admitted that he took part in _ the attack on the Sirdar. He pave the names of the others, including that of his brother.
