THE DAVIS CUP.
i AUSTRALIAN TEAM CHOSEN , . SYDNEY, March 3. A meeting of the Lawn Tennis Council of Australia was held in camera yesterday. It decided against the recommendations of the Davis Cup Selection Committee that fourtnen should be sent to contest for the cup. The council decided to send three representatives, Anderson, Patterson and Hawkes. They will compete in the American zone, but not in the European . zone.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
