At a spot about a mile south of Ongarue, a waggon loaded with fruit tumped off the line and was dragged some dirtance before the mishap was discovered. Some damage was done to the permanent way, sleepers and bolts being cut in places. A gang proceeded to the scene an! jacked the truck back on to the line again.
