A FRENCHMAN'S STORY. IS THE WAR OVER ? PARIS. February 3. A native of ixirraine named de Versey las just reached Metz after having escaped from a Siberian prison camp at I'luczvolgki. De Versey asserts that there are still 3000 prisoners of war there. All of these men were unaware that ■the war had ended. He only heard of Its termination when he reached Leningrad.—(A. and N.Z.
