SUCCESS WITHOUT INOCULATION. (From Our Own Correspondent.) M.ORRINSVILLE, Tuesday. Whether lucerne crops require inoculated soil apparently depends on the kind of soil in which they are planted. The experience so far of the land round Morrinsville is that inoculated soil is necessary for a healthy crop. A Morrinsville resident who was recently at Te Atatu, near Henderson, had the opportunity of seeing a small patch of ! lucerne on Mr. J. Mcleod's farm, whjojj was sown four years ago without inoculation.
