Archaeologists now believe the king's funerary regalia will yet be found. They express the opinion that when the annexe, which was discovered packed w-itli objects hitherto untouched and unentered, is cleared away a stairway will be found underneath leading to further rooms and revealing other treasures; possibly the burial place of Tut-ankh-anien's. i|iieen. — ("Times.") Tut-ankh-aiueii's queen. American explorers excavating near the pyramid at Sakkara have discovered a tomb antedating that of Tut-ankh-amen's.— (/'Times.")
