FREE STATE AND LEAGUE.
AN OFFER FROM BRITAIN. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, December 28. The Republican newspaper "Sinn Fein" published in Dublin, asserts it is authentically informed that Britain offered to pay £20,000,000 to the Free State in return for the latter withdrawing its claim for separate representation in the League of "Nations. It adds that the terms will be accepted and a sham protest made in the Dail Eirann.—Reuter.
