OBITUARY.
THE DUKE OF BEAUFORT. (Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, November 27. The death has occurred of the Duke of Beaufort.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.) Henry Adelhert Wellington Fitzßoy Somerset, Baron Herbert of Raglan, Chepstow and Gower, 1506, Earl of Worcester, 1514, Marquess of Worcester, 1042. J.P., D.L., Colonel of the Royal Gloucestershide Hussars, and in 1847. He was the eldest son of the eighth Duke and Lady Georgiana Charlotte Curzon. daughter of the first Karl Howe. He served in the Royal Horse Guards (Bluesl from 1865 to *IS7S. He was a man of highly distinguished and soldierly bearing:, being 6ft Gin in height. He was addicted to all games of strength and skill, and was an untiring patron of sport. His estates aggregated 53.000 acres. The Marquess of Worcester is his heir.
