The first of five steel towers, eacli 350 ft in height, for communication bj means of the Marconi beam system oi ivireless with similar stations which arc being erected in England on behalf ol the British Post Office, has been completed at Drummondville, near Montreal. This will be the first station in Canada to use the beam system for the transmission of commercial telegraphy.
