WLTE 'WHO DESERTED. TWO DECREES GRANTED. Two undefended actions for divorce were heard by Mr. Justice Stringer in the Supreme Court this morning. Gustaf Fredrick Palmer (Mr. Singer) petitioned for a dissolution of his marriage with. Sarah Jane Palmer. Petitioner stated in evidence that they were married in Melbourne in 1889, and came to New Zealand in 1890, going to Gisborna to reside. Between 189G and 1908 respondent left him four times without any reason. On three occasions petitioner took her back. On the occasion of her last leaving slie was quite friendly in the morning when petitioner went to business, and she waved her hand iv farewell. When he returned she had gone. Soon afterwards she instituted proceedings for maintenance, which the magistrate refused to grant. Petitioner and respondent had not lived together? since 1908.
