At a meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union correspondence was read wtih reference to the possibility of a Californian University team's tour taking place in the coming year. New South Wales promised to keep tlie New Zealand Union posted as to the progress of negotiations. Regarding the 17 players and officials reported by the Otago Union as taking part in the inauguration of the League game in Dunedin, the men concerned were given 14 days in which to show cause why they should not be dealt -with. The New South* Wales Union also ■wrote suggesting that negotiations should be opened with France with a view to securing a visit during the 1926 season. New South Wales also asked if a Ne-w Zealand team could be sent across in the new season. Tlie matter will be considered Jater.
