Lady Kerman and passionate together ran seven furlongs in 1.33 1-5. - Master Doon and Kamehameba covered six rurlongs in 1.18 i-s. AFTER BREAKFAST. Makora and Turn beat Killute over hair-a-mile in 50s, Wcka and Royal Form taking 50 3-5s and Uralla 51 4-SS. Princess Ronnie bad the better or San Quin over Ove rurlongs in 1.5. Lady Ridicule ran the last nve or six rurlongs in 1.3 4-5. Tlie Archiestown nily and Niblick went over half a mile in 525. Penona and Marble Boy covered the last nve or six rurlongs in 1.7, Lucky Lv being with them over the concluding hair-mile. Romantic. Gold Mint, and Bizarre were in that order at the end or a sprint. Tuscan covered nve rurlongs In 1.8 2-5, while Portamento and Ballymoy were practically together at the or half a mile In 50 2-SS. Freshman did a round in 1.56 4-5. I THE TWO-YEAR-OLD TRACK. I Lomint, Hyde Park, and Cherry Roe sprinted three rurlong-s, but were not timed, llolymond, Merry Damon, and Serang- ran three furlongs in 39 3-ss. THE JUMPERS. Pine Arch (E. Stanway). Miss Melva (J. Preston), and Pentagram (Rennle) finished in a bunch ahead of Narrow Neck (Rutherford) and Opalold (E. Prestonf) over four hurdles. All jumped well. Never Despair (Stanway), Tuki (Rennie), Lady Bruce (E. Preston), Capstar (Rutherrord), Mary Bruce (J. Preston), Peter Amans (Hastedt), and Gambler's Gold (Roach) finished in that order at tho end or a schooling task over the big fences. Tbey started at tho sod wall at tbe top or the straight, went over the water jump, and. after negotiating the hill, the sod wall, and tho double completed their task by jumping the stone wall at the bottom of the straight. It was one of the best training displays seen at Ellerslie ror softie time, i ukl was the early leader, but then' Peter Amans went to the front, and he and Never Despair opened up a break on the others, but Peter Amans (lid not negotiate the rences at the top or the hill too well, and lost his position. However, he fenced well arterwards. All the others jumped nicely, and they finished in the order given above. r>'o Surrender has made hts reappearance on the tracks at Ellerslie arter a lengthy absence, ana tills morning, ridden hy j Roach, and accompanied by Brown Heath (Stanway), he went over the big fences including the hill, and showed that he had lost none or the ability be displayed a Tew seasons ago.
