WEMBLEY EXHIBITION.
FATE OF N.Z. EXHIBITS. (Received 10 a.m.) ' ' ': *- LONDON, October 22. Portions of New Zealand's Wembley exhibits will be sent to Dunedin Exhibition and the remainder to the Imperial i Institute. The fate of the New Zealand : pavilion is not decided.— ("Sun.") NEW ZEALAND CRITICISED. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, October 22. The "Daily Mail" says the Government has already received £70,000 in Wembley entertainment tax, apart from the admissionv tax, and that it will probably receive a total of £100,000.
It is too early to say whether the exhibition will involve a loss. Australia, Canada, and Newfoundland have expressed willingness to participate in 1925, but New Zealand's abstention owing to the Dunedin Exhibition is arousing adverse comment.
The British Government has not yet decided to reopen, but a private syndicate has just offered to purchase tbo exhibition for £800,000.—(A. and NZ )
