INTERPKOVDrCIAt MATCHES. AUCKLAND PLAYS IN DUNEDIN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHKISTCHURCH, Tuesday. At. a meeting of the Canterbury cricket Association to-night the Otago Assocmtion wrote suggesting that Otago should play Auckland in Dunedin at unnstmas. This would enable Canterbury to play Wellington on the same dates. Otago would ulay Wellington at the 2s ew Year and Auckland would play Canterbury also at the New Year. The Otago and Canterbury match would be played at Dunedin on February C, 7 and 9, or Eebruary 20, 31 and 23. The Auckland Associjition suggested that the match against Canterbury be played at Christchuroh on January 1, 2 and 3. It was decided to Inform Auckland that the Otago suggestion waa the one favoured by Canterbury, as it would enable Canterbury to play Wellington at Lnristchurch at Christmas. It was decided to reply to Otago agreeing to their suggeation and etating that the matter of a, match between Canterbury and Otago would be deferred pending a reply from Auckland and Wellington.
