CIRCLING THE EARTH.

AMERICAN AIR CRUISERS. NEARING FINAL STAGE. NEW YORK, September 24. The United States airmen, Lieutenants Smith and Nelson, arrived at Santa Monica, California, to-day. It is just six months and six days since the four aircruisers which started upon the flight around the world left Seattle. The round-the-world airway of the future will, it is anticipated, follow approximately the same route as that used by the Americans. Lieutenant Smith, commander of the flight, states that air travellers, desiring to see all the scenic wonders of the world, with a combination of travel by land, water and air, would be wise to use the course inaugurated by his party. ■ The last stage of the flight will be to Seattle, where the long journey will officially end.— (Reuter.)
