A BRIDGE ACCIDENT.
ROADMAN BADLY INJURED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.! WAIROA (H. 8.), this day. A roadman, William Norman, of Ohinepaka, was repairing a suspension bridge leading across the river to his cottage, when the wire gave way, and the man fell on his head into the river, sustaining severe spinal injuries. He now lies partly paralysed in the local hospital.
