SOLDIERS IN COUNCIL.
THE QUESTION OF PENSIONS. '. SPAHLINOER'S TR-BATMENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Dominion Council of the Returned Soldiers' Association met to-day. J&&**~ was expressed" that no" reply »" received from the Minister of Ltefence in regard to the resolutions earned in June regarding war pensions, and w was decided that if no reply oe received by Monday a deputation wait on the Minister and also bring to his notice the question of the eligibility or a widow, married more than two years after discharge for-a pension. It was decided to recommend -has the Dominion executive- -approach the i Government in order to make the •Spahlinger treatment for. tuberculosis available at an early date. The question of--whether the fitting of l;mbs should be done at Wellington soleiy or whether it be done .in the four" main centres was discussed, and the opinion was ■ ■ expressed that it should be done at' 'the four centres. _
