Before it could be properly identified you would require to send a rubbing aud the weight, as several coins of that reign were similar in diameter. Your coin would now be worth probably not more than li/ or , 7/ as far as we can learn. J.W.D.—The usual term is live years. REMEDY.—Make a thick boiled solution of equal parts of soft sugar and boracic acid powder, and place in shallow, dishes at the points most frequented' by the ants. NORTH SHORE.—The work of removing the pier was started in July. 1013.
